Program Details

Genesee Community College offers an online liberal arts degree, the Associate in Applied Science in Individualized Studies.  With this liberal arts degree students are able to learn skills in more than one discipline.  The curriculum is flexible, allowing students to create a unique program to achieve their specific career goals.  This also results in a solid general education foundation with skills in communication, basic word processing, spreadsheet, and database software.  The liberal arts program is designed for students seeking employment immediately after graduation, helping them meet specific industry or job needs or to advance to higher-level positions.

Requirements

  • High school transcript or GED
  • College transcripts, if applicable
  • ACT test scores, or take the Accuplacer placement test
  • Students must submit a certificate of residence to qualify for New York State resident tuition
