Program Details

The MA in Arts Education / Special Education from Fort Lewis College helps educators grow as mentors and role models. Graduates help their students overcome challenges while finding joy in learning.

This online program adds a special education endorsement to your existing teaching license. For those without licensure, additional coursework will qualify you for teaching licensure.

Expert faculty teach the skills to work with those with disabilities. You will learn the responsibilities and skills to work as a public school special education teacher.

You will work with experienced, real-life educational mentors throughout the special education program. Some of the skills you gain include the ability to:
