Program Details

You can gain advanced training in education and chemistry to teach at the college level with the MS in Education with an Emphasis in Chemistry. This online STEAM education master’s degree program follows an interdisciplinary curriculum through the Department of Advanced Education and the Chemistry Department.

The online program satisfies the Higher Learning Commission’s requirements to teach college-level courses. Roughly 90% of your STEAM education curriculum can be completed online. To gain hands-on laboratory experiences, you will participate in a two-week program held on-campus during your summers.

Besides learning the foundations of chemistry and how to use technology in the classroom, you will study such topics as:
