Program Details

Finger Lakes Community College offers an Associate in Science degree in Kinesiology and Human Performance to the online student.  This program is designed for aspiring health care workers, and can be a step towards becoming a certified personal trainer.  Students may transfer credits from this degree towards four-year degree programs in:

• Athletic Training
• Physical Therapy
• Sports Nutrition
• Occupational Therapy

Develop foundational knowledge in anatomy, wellness, sports performance, injury rehabilitation, and more.  Learn how to create patient-specific plans, take on case studies to explore real-world scenarios, and focus on physical care and prevention of injuries.  Study legal and ethical behaviors in areas such as sports medicine, and learn from expert faculty with real-world, certified experience through FLCC online.
