Program Details

The online Associate in Applied Science in Paralegal and Legal Studies prepares students for an important role in assisting attorneys during the legal process as a paralegal or legal assistant. Students draft legal documents, conduct research, communicate with clients, and manage case files. Students learn about specialized legal fields such as property rights, estate planning, litigation, and criminal law. 

Topics include, but are not limited to:

  • Professional Writing
  • Ethics

Graduates can work in government, corporations, and law firms. Faculty are experienced paralegals or attorneys. Graduates have the necessary skills and knowledge to succeed as paralegals.
