Program Details

The online Master of Education in Educational Leadership program prepares educators for principal certification.  The curriculum includes entrance-level courses for the study of student personnel programs and provides a broad overview of the essential elements of special education, guidance counseling, activity, and other student-support programs.  Students also take courses in supervision and personnel issues that provide a broad overview of the essential elements of recruiting, training, and nurturing quality instructional staff members.  Coursework also focuses on leadership and school improvement through collaborative processes and systems.

Requirements

  • Baccalaureate degree from an accredited college
  • 3.0 minimum GPA in the last 60 hours of undergraduate work
  • Official transcripts
  • GRE or PRAXIS scores
  • Teaching license/certification
