Program Details

The online Graduate Certificate in Instructional Specialist in Elementary STEM program is designed for classroom teachers and teacher leaders who want enhanced knowledge of STEM education in elementary and middle schools.  The curriculum prepares instructors to bring hands-on, engaging STEM instruction into their elementary classrooms while increasing their own content knowledge.  Courses are Elementary Engineering and Robotics, Trends in Elementary STEM Education, Best Practice in Elementary Mathematics, and Best Practice in Elementary Science.

Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree in a related field of study
  • Transcripts from all colleges/universities previously attended
  • GPA of no less than 2.5 in the last 60 semester hours of study or an overall GPA of no less than 3.0 for a completed masters degree
