Program Details

Ecclesia College offers an online counseling degree, the Bachelor of Science in Psychology & Counseling.  This program combines counseling with Christianity and the Scripture.  You will learn to evaluate psychological paradigms using the Scripture’s authority and to apply basic counseling principles as they relate to individuals, families, organizations, human development, behavior, and Christian thought.  The curriculum helps students learn to use therapeutic communication skills effectively, employ basic counseling skills, and to practice active listening while also interpreting the legal and regulatory issues associated with counseling professions.  Graduates will understand and be prepared to apply strategies for managing conflict within organizations, the home, the Church, and other societal contexts and will be able to apply biblical and psychological foundations to modern issues.
