Program Details

The online Master of Education in Pedagogy and Learning program allows students to pursue a curriculum and instruction master’s degree with two areas of study.  Students choose a 15-hour emphasis and then 12 hours from a second concentration area to create their own flexible curriculums.  Available concentration areas include: 

  • Bilingual Education
  • Educational Technology
  • Elementary Education
  • English as a Second Language
  • Gifted Pedagogy
  • Reading/Literacy
  • Special Education Pedagogy

Requirements

This degree program requires 24-33 credits for completion, depending upon the concentration chosen.

  • Official transcript from each institution previously attended
  • An undergraduate GPA of 3.0 (applicants with GPAs between 2.8 and 2.99 will be considered for "conditional" admission; if accepted, candidates must earn a minimum GPA of 3.0 with no grade less than a "B" during the first semester or the first nine hours of enrollment)
  • A letter of application to the educational studies graduate coordinator or the curriculum and instruction graduate coordinator
  • One letter of recommendation
