Program Details

The online Graduate Certificate in Community College Leadership further educates community college faculty and staff who seek positions of leadership or increased responsibility for those already in leadership positions.  The curriculum provides learners with specific leadership and management tools for the community college environment.  Courses include Seminar in Educational Supervision; Policy, Power, and Politics in Education; and Organization Development.

Requirements

  • Possess at least a master’s degree from a regionally accredited institution
  • Be currently employed at a community college
  • Have at least a 3.0 on a 4.0 scale in the most current awarded degree
  • Nominated by a community college president or his/her designee
  • A one-page letter essay
  • Official transcripts 
  • A vita or resume
  • Two letters of recommendation
