Program Details
This MSN degree program prepares nurse practitioners to meet the acute, complex healthcare needs of children and their families while promoting overall wellness. Graduates can pursue advanced roles as clinicians, educators, researchers, and leaders in pediatric health and wellness.
Students will become experts in caring for infants, children, and adolescents with acute and complex health disorders. An emphasis is placed on evidence-based practice, interdisciplinary collaboration, and use of technology. Drexel’s online nurse practitioner degree programs allow the student to choose a clinical site and preceptor in their own local area.
The curriculum includes studies of:
- Pharmacology for the pediatric nurse practitioner

- Requires two on-campus intensives: a 1-day summer experience and a 5-day fall experience
