Program Details

The online Medical Coding Diploma program is key in patient care and vital to the success of medical offices as coders are relied on to navigate medical records and accurately code diagnoses and procedures.  Students learn to examine patient records to translate a diagnosis or procedure into a code to allow for reimbursement for the medical facility, learn to use computer programs and coding reference manuals, and gain knowledge of diseases, anatomy, and procedures.
