Program Details

The online Diploma in Urban Forest Management program is designed for students looking to begin careers in the tree care industry by providing knowledge in urban forestry management and care for a variety of tree species.  In this one-year program, students learn tree identification, tree care, safe work practices, disease management, pruning techniques, and urban forest management skills.  Graduates typically find employment with municipal forestry departments, parks and recreation departments, or as commercial arborists.
