Program Details
Dakota College at Bottineau offers the online Associate of Applied Science in Small Business Management degree program, teaching students the ins and outs of running a small business. With this program, you will complete general education courses that allow you to transfer to a four-year institution but unlike Associate of Science degrees, the program focuses on Business and Management courses specifically with fewer general education courses. This is an interdisciplinary program that teaches students to organize, plan, and manage in various industries. The curriculum features courses in marketing, advertising, accounting, retailing, sales, management, business communications, economics, human relations, and entrepreneurship. You will also complete core business courses in microeconomics, macroeconomics, business in the legal environment, spreadsheet applications, and more.
