First enrolling students in 1879, studies at Curry initially focused on drama, oratory and speech. Driven by a forward-thinking purpose, the College has continued to evolve through the years in order to meet the educational needs of its students. Today, degree programs are defined by a combination of liberal arts and career-directed instruction, which includes hands-on opportunities. Learning opportunities include, but are not limited to, studies in business, criminal justice, education and nursing. As part of their vision, Curry commits to preparing all students for career success and community engagement with a global perspective.
Curry College specifically recognizes the needs for adults to further education, whether for career advancement or to change professional direction. Online graduate programs and degree completion courses are available through the Continuing and Graduate Studies division at Curry. Students progress through programs as a cohort; taught by instructors who provide personalized attention.
