Program Details

CUNY Graduate School and University Center offers the online RN to BS-MS in Nursing Informatics, providing registered nurses the opportunity to complete all of the requirements for both the BS in Nursing and the MS in Nursing Informatics at an accelerated pace. BS level course requirements are satisfied through the more advanced MS coursework, which includes all essential content, but with an expanded approach. You'll learn to:

  • Synthesize organizational science and informatics theory to make changes in nursing practice
  • Provide oversight and guidance in the selection of integration of technologies to document patient care and improve health outcomes
  • Analyze current and emerging technologies for applications in safety and quality improvement, research and evidence-based practice, and nursing education
  • Conduct research in a variety of informatics topics that impacts both caregivers and consumers
