Cox College’s Master of Science in Nursing with the Family Nurse Practitioner concentration provides the skills you need to be a frontline healthcare leader. Coursework for this program is completely online—with clinical components where you live. When you first enter the program, you’ll receive the foundations of physiology, evidence-based practice, and healthcare ethics. Then, you’ll have the ability to dig deeper into your chosen professional track. 

The Family Nurse Practitioner emphasis provides the skills you need to provide care across the lifespan continuum. Courses include pharmacology, physical assessment, senior health, women’s health, and newborn health. Graduates are equipped to take the national nurse practitioner certification exam.
