Program Details

Increase your understanding of teaching high-achieving, gifted, and talented students with a Master of Arts in Gifted Education. This program will prepare teachers to serve as leaders in creating and implementing programs addressing the needs of exceptional students.

Teachers will learn how to develop curriculum and use instructional strategies to meet the individual needs of each student. Classes also explore current research, issues, and policy regarding gifted and talented programs. In addition to traditional education topics, program participants will learn how to address the social and emotional needs of their students.

Upon graduation, teachers will be prepared to create effective gifted and talented programs that include:
