Program Details

The online Master of Arts in New Testament Studies program is designed for individuals interested in gaining a deeper understanding of the New Testament of the Bible.  This program develops exegetical skills that will help students communicate the Gospels and Epistles in accurate, meaningful, and relevant ways.  The curriculum includes a study of biblical Greek and New Testament books that provide students with an intimate knowledge of the Scriptures and brings them to life in exciting ways.  This knowledge will help you communicate a deeper understanding of the New Testament to your church and community through various ministries.  Courses in this program establish foundational knowledge of God’s Word through courses in Biblical Interpretation, Old and New Testament literature, principles of spiritual formation, Greek, and Greek Exegetical methods.

Requirements

  • Baccalaureate degree or its equivalent
  • Official transcripts
  • Report of academic standing
  • Reference(s), including a letter of commitment of spousal support (if married) for pastoral track students
