The Bachelor of Social Work program provides a liberal arts foundation and focuses on social work theory and practice. You can pursue social work with the opportunity to enhance your knowledge and skills in your social work degree by choosing from optional concentrations in Crisis and Trauma, Restorative Justice and Healthcare Social Work. Upon graduation, you’ll be degree eligible to apply to sit for the LBSW exam and apply for advanced standing in a CSWE-accredited MSW program.

As part of the BSW degree online program, you will volunteer 50 hours by junior year, and in your senior year, you will participate in an agency-based field placement for two semesters (fall & spring) 450 hours, and a corresponding classroom field seminar. Your real-world experience can translate into generalist practice with individuals, families, organizations and communities.
