Program Details

The online Bachelor of Science in Wildfire Science was developed in partnership with local, state, and national fire associations. This flexible online bachelor’s degree can be completed in five semesters. Many fire departments require a bachelor’s degree to advance in the organization, and this online bachelor’s degree program provides students with the necessary knowledge and skills to advance their careers.

Classes include, but are not limited to: 

  • Chemicals and the Environment
  • Land Use Planning and Community Resiliency 
  • Wildland Urban Interface 

Students study a range of topics such as wildfire law, economics, emergency management, firefighter stress, fitness, and more. Classes are taught by experienced faculty who are committed to the academic success of their students. Graduates will have a competitive advantage in the workforce by obtaining the online Bachelor of Science in Wildfire Science.
