The Graduate Certificate in Instructional Design provides the foundation of technology and instructional design. The online program helps you develop your skills in using web authoring software to design online trainings.

Credits earned in this online instructional design graduate certificate program apply toward the MS in Instructional Design and Technology, should you choose to continue your education. For those not ready to commit to a master’s degree program, CSUF offers a Level II certificate to further your knowledge and skills.

The online courses cover the science of learning. Students create online learning experiences using Articulate Storyline or Adobe Captivate. Other classes focus on instructional design fundamentals in the e-learning environment. 

Topics of study include:

  • Instructional design and web authoring tools
