Program Details
Learn the knowledge, skills, and leadership abilities needed to work with children with special needs in the MS in Education / Special Education degree program. Students in this online Special Education degree will gain both the broad foundations and specific expertise that will enable them to become effective educators.
The program incorporates studies of curriculum development, K-12 educational systems, teaching strategies, and research methods. Students will additionally learn about teaching principles from the viewpoints of behavioral, cognitive, and social theories. All participants will complete a California Commission-approved teacher induction or internship program within a special education setting.
