Program Details

The online Associate of Applied Science in Criminal Justice is a two-year online program that prepares students for jobs in criminal justice and law enforcement. Students learn ethical behavior through criminal justice simulations, understand theories of what causes crime, and analyze interactions between law enforcement agencies and citizens. This online degree has options for transfer to complete a bachelor’s degree at Old Dominion University, Virginia Commonwealth University, or Virginia State University.

Courses include, but are not limited to: 

  • Police Response to Critical Incidence
  • Principles of Criminal Investigation
  • Ethics and the Criminal Justice Professional
