Program Details

Expand your skills to meet the needs of students with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) with Brenau University’s online Autism Endorsement. You can complete this nine-credit hour program as a standalone credential or incorporate it into an education graduate program. A bachelor’s degree, a Level 4 teaching certificate and one year of teaching experience are required.

The 100% online curriculum gives you the expertise to work with diverse learners. You will explore characteristics and eligibility for special education services, learn to collaborate with related professionals and understand the trans-disciplinary approach required to support students with autism. Your coursework will train you to assess academic, communication and social needs and create effective educational interventions.
