Program Details

Incorporating the Professional Standards for Educational Leadership, this online master’s in education administration prepares students for school-based and district-level leadership positions. Courses provide an introduction to school administration and courses in school law, assessment and evaluation, and trauma-informed leadership. You will not only learn innovative practices like social-emotional learning and inclusion, equity, and community engagement, but you will put this new practice and knowledge to work in the real world. All students complete field-based activities and structured internships that allow them to practice leadership skills.

Not only will you be able to provide educational leadership in public, private, or virtual schools, but you will also be prepared for a career in curriculum development, consulting, or working in areas of non-profit leadership and advocacy. The curriculum includes licensure in Administration and Supervision PreK-12 and prepares students to take the School Leaders Licensure Assessment (SLLA).
