The online Master of Science in Special Education program is designed for individuals seeking to work with students who have mild to moderate learning, emotional, and intellectual disabilities. The curriculum provides instruction and applied experiences in behavior management, instructional programming, data-based decision making, psycho-educational assessment, legal issues, and collaborative programming among general and special educators. Students learn to apply specialized techniques within a continuum of educational settings working with students who have been identified with varying disabilities.
- Bachelors degree required
- Have a minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA on a 4.0 scale
- Submit GRE General test scores (waived if cumulative GPA is 3.5 or above or if Basic Skills Requirement and subject matter competency is met by completion of a state approved program or passage of all CSET subtests)
