Program Details
Based on decades of educational and cognitive neuroscientific research, the Master of Science in Education in Reading & Literacy Instruction program prepares graduates for success. This online reading and literacy master’s degree teaches the use of evidence-based practices for grades PreK-12. Areas of focus include teachings for both general and specialized education.
With the goal of meeting the diverse needs of students, the online reading and literacy program combines educational, cognitive, and neuroscientific research. Coursework focuses on the science of reading.
Within the program, courses cover the assessment and planning for students with learning disabilities. Some of the categories of students addressed include the following:
