Program Details

The Early Intervention concentration within this online master’s in counseling program provides students with the education and training required for certification by the Massachusetts Department of Public Health. Students will perform all or most of their internship hours in a DPH-approved Early Intervention agency. 

Key components of this online counseling degree include understanding theories of counseling and psychotherapy; analyzing personality differences related to abnormal, deviant, or psychopathological behavior; appreciating issues related to culture, gender, sexual identity, environment, and family; and understanding the impact of stress, substance abuse, and bullying on mental health.
