Program Details

The online Master of Arts in Mathematics Education program helps educators become leaders for mathematics education in their schools and districts.  The curriculum deepens understanding of mathematical concepts and their usage throughout the K-12 spectrum and develops the mathematics content and pedagogy needed to excite and instill a passion for math in students.  The program provides a broad academic background and field experience in mathematics.


  • Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited college and/or university (minimum 2.75 GPA on a 4.0 scale)
  • Prior undergraduate coursework in calculus (strongly recommended)

  • Two letters of recommendation
