School Details

Established in 1889, Agnes Scott College is a private women’s college in Atlanta, Georgia. It began as Decatur Female Seminary and was renamed Agnes Scott Institution in 1890. In 1906 the school was chartered as Agnes Scott College with the mission to educate students to “think deeply, live honorably, and engage the intellectual and social challenges of their times.” Today, Agnes Scott College provides an innovative liberal arts education with the signature SUMMIT experience that is reinventing the liberal arts education.
