Adams State University offers an online MBA in Health Administration which can prepare you to tackle the challenges in today’s modern medical setting.  With constantly shifting regulation and oversight, the healthcare field needs leaders who can make strategic business decisions while not compromising the level of patient care.  ASU’s MBA program is 100% online and completely flexible, allowing you to work at your own pace.  The curriculum in this degree takes approximately 2 years to complete and encompasses coursework such as:

  • Public health
  • Elderly and managed care
  • Health policy
  • Healthcare practicum or thesis

Students can select two different paths to demonstrate their knowledge and skills gained in ASU’s MBA in Health Administration.  You can choose to complete a practicum, where you are out in the healthcare environment solving business issues.  Or, you can complete a research project surrounding a healthcare issue that integrates in-depth analysis, literature review and data.
