Program Details

The Master of Fine Arts in Interior Architecture & Design is an online interior design degree offered by one of the top art schools, the Academy of Art University.  This program, unlike the Master of Arts degree which focused on all aspects of design, focuses on advanced techniques and theory of interior architecture and design.  The curriculum covers research, concept and design development, and traditional and digital media.  Students will also learn about global issues that affect interior architecture and design.  You will also learn innovative ideas in the field as well as other, more traditional, aspects of design.  For example, the degree also covers codes and regulations, building systems and components, methods of interior construction, space planning, and the understanding of human social and spatial interaction.
