School Details

Established in 1999, Divine Mercy University is a highly-focused graduate school.  The university is dedicated to the study of psychology, offering degrees only on the masters and doctorate levels.  As a Roman Catholic institution, the school is affiliated with the Legionaries of Christ.

Divine Mercy integrates science, scholarship, and religious teaching and understandng with clear intent to prepare students in their vocation as mental health professionals.  There is also a blend of theoretical and empirical studies of psychology alongside a Catholic world viewpoint.

In an effort to reach out to the world, Divine Mercy offers its graduate degrees online.  The school has two distinct branches:  the Institute for the Psychological Sciences and the School of Counseling.  The university also answers a highly specialized calling with its Center for Trauma and Resiliency Studies.  This offers a unique training program for mental health first responders in disaster situations.
