GetEducated Team Takes
Tony’s Take

CSUB does many core things well. Professors are approachable and helpful. Classes feel substantive, not like busywork. The school also carries a welcoming, grounded community feel.

Value is a real plus here. Affordability comes up often. Some students say they are getting their money’s worth. The harder part is planning outside class.

Advising and counseling can be harder to navigate. Course sequencing is not always smooth. That can affect pace to graduation. Required classes are not always easy to access.

Evening and online options can also be limited. CSUB fits best for students who want strong teaching and solid value, and who can handle some term-to-term scheduling variability.
