GetEducated Team Takes
Tony’s Take

University of Guam is a solid choice for many students. It is a practical local option with a strong sense of community. Its CHamoru and Chamorro ties add real meaning for many learners. Cost is another big plus.

UOG is often more affordable than many mainland schools. Classes can feel different from one professor to another. Some are clear and manageable, while others are lecture-heavy and writing-heavy. Grading can be tough, and expectations may shift.

Student support can vary too. Many staff members are helpful and flexible when issues come up. UOG is a good fit for students who value local connection and can adapt to different class styles and processes.
