Program Details

The Associate of Applied Science in Accounting from York County Community College is an online accounting degree.  This program provides a “realistic and practical foundation” in general accounting.  The curriculum covers general education courses and then goes on to cover such topics as accounting practices, quality customer service, budgeting, human resource management, business finance, and computer applications.  You will have the skills needed to enter, and advance within, the accounting departments of any size organization.  Courses also teach accounting functions, automated systems, and overall business processes.  

This online accounting degree prepares students for entry-level accounting careers.  It can also serve as the beginning of a baccalaureate program, allowing students to transfer to a four-year college or university and enter at an above-freshman level.
