Program Details

The Post-MSN Certificate in Nurse Leadership is designed for professional nurses who want to take on expanded roles and responsibilities. The Executive track prepares students to lead fellow nurses and other health professionals in a variety of settings. Coursework emphasizes healthcare policy, as well as the entrepreneurial and managerial roles of the nurse leader.

Graduates will have competencies including:

  • Knowledge of executive and management theories
  • Ability to fulfill leadership roles in executive nursing practice through collaboration, advocacy, sensitivity to diversity, and involvement in professional organizations
