Master of Science in Industrial Engineering

Program Details

The online MS in Industrial Engineering degree program from Western New England University enables students from a variety of engineering backgrounds to attain advanced knowledge and skills in optimization, systems, quality, and cost analysis. Graduates are prepared to:

  • Synthesize, analyze, and optimize data for enterprise decision making
  • Model, improve, control, and re-design enterprise data
  • Apply new tools and techniques to solve industrial engineering problems

Requirements

  • Successful completion of a baccalaureate degree from an accredited institution of higher education in electrical engineering 
    • Other related disciplines will be considered on a case-by-case basis
  • An undergraduate GPA of 3.0 (on a 4.0 scale) is required for admission
    • Candidates with a lower GPA may be considered for conditional admittance or nondegree status
  • Programming competence in C, C++, Visual Basic, or FORTRAN
  • Candidates with an undergraduate degree not accredited by ABET are encouraged to submit a GRE score from the past five years
