Enroll in these online ESL degree programs and advance professional opportunities. With communities becoming increasingly diverse, there is a greater need for teachers who are able to teach students whose native language is not English. This program prepares you to meet the unique needs of English language learners in K-12 schools. Not only will you meet their language needs, but you will also learn to meet their content needs as an ESL teacher or district ESL coach or coordinator.  

Graduates only need to complete one more course to be eligible for the Michigan Department of Education’s English as a Second Language endorsement.
