Program Details

The online Graduate Certificate in Intercollegiate Athletic Administration focuses on essential skills and knowledge needed for employment in the intercollegiate athletic administration field.  Students learn efficient methods of security management in the recreation and sport industry; support service guidelines toward student-athletes in the areas of academics, personal issues, and career preparation/planning; about the intercollegiate athletics governing bodies; and about NCAA rules and regulations relating to intercollegiate athletics.  It is comprised of four courses:  Facility and Event Security Management, Student-Athlete Development, Governance in Intercollegiate Athletics, and Compliance in Intercollegiate Athletics.
