The online Master of Science in Rehabilitation Counseling is designed to provide a strong practitioner training program focused on the unique needs of diverse communities.
The program has been accredited by the Council on Rehabilitation Education since 1974. Graduates are eligible to sit for certification as Certified Rehabilitation Counselor (CRC).
Applicants are required to currently be working in a vocational rehabilitation (VR) state/federal agency and have an career goal of rehabilitation counselor.
Must hold a bachelors degree. Three letters of recommendation. An undergraduate GPA of 2.8.
Must attend on-site, week-long sessions in Morgantown. An intensive, one-week session during the first year. Also require attendance during one week for an internship seminar and experiences related to the Group Counseling Theories and Techniques course in the semester you are involved in those courses (usually Spring of your 2nd year).
