Program Details
The online Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice program prepares students for careers in the criminal justice field working within the areas of law enforcement, corrections, or the courts. Students will gain a strong foundation in criminal justice while learning about the rights provided by the Constitution, how to legally search someone’s home and vehicle, probable causes for arrests, reasonable suspicion, Miranda warnings, and crime scene investigation. You will also study criminology, community corrections, terrorism, crime prevention, drug abuse, prison environments, and more. Graduates are able to manage criminal justice organizations and create budgets for police or probation departments.
