Program Details

The focus of the online Bachelor of Business Administration in Computer Information Systems is on integrating technology with business practices to enable businesses to achieve their objectives. Students will gain a solid understanding of information systems as they relate to finance, operations, management, marketing, accountancy, and investments. Students have access to the Technology Club for games, tournaments, and other activities. The CIS program also offers opportunities for students to network with businesses and organizations for advice from working professionals.

Courses include, but are not limited to:

• Software systems development
• Programming business applications
• Database systems design

Career opportunities for graduates include CIS Manager, Database Administrator, Network Designer, and Computer Systems Architect. Each semester and during summer months students are involved in research projects with CIS professors, allowing students one-on-one time. Students of the bachelor’s degree program in CIS have even been awarded research grants for their projects.
