Program Details
The online Certificate of Achievement in Fire Technology program provides information and skills for students interested in advancing their careers or in beginning careers in fire protection and related fields as they look at the organization and operation of fire prevention bureaus and delve into such areas as inspections, fire investigations, liability, court procedures, and more. Students will study fire protection and service, fire loss analysis, organization and function of fire protection services, fire departments as part of government, laws and regulations in this area, and more. You will look at fire causes and prevention, the basics of fire chemistry and physics, and at specific fire protection functions.
