Program Details

The online Associate of Applied Science in Cybersecurity program is designed for students seeking entry-level employment as cybersecurity specialists who will work with networking systems, telecommunications, cryptography, security system design, or risk assessment and contingency planning.  The curriculum provides an understanding of the concepts, principles, and techniques required in computer information processing, helping students become tech-savvy professionals that help keep digital information safe from hackers, data breaches, and other cybercrimes.  In addition to general education courses, you will take courses that teach the technical areas of computer terminology and concepts, program design and development, and computer networking while also learning critical thinking and the principles of risk management.
