Program Details

You can deepen your spiritual perspective and expand your ministry tools with the Doctor of Ministry from Wesley Biblical Seminary. The online leadership and ministry degree explores such topics as:

  • Sacramental leadership
  • Transformational preaching
  • Christianity and world religions
  • Philosophies challenging the church

Through the online leadership and ministry doctoral degree program, you can expand on your MDiv or MA in a Christian field. While your coursework may be completed online, students attend four one-week intensives on campus in the first two years of study.

Additional Info

  • If a student does not have an MDiv, he or she will be required to submit an additional essay that
  • demonstrates a student’s ability to understand his or her ministry calling, how to continue growing in
  • faith, and how to effectively minister in a particular context
  • Applicants must have completed at least 3 years of full-time ministry or ministry as a senior pastor.
  • This program requries week-long, on-campus intensives each January and June.
