The online AS in Ministry offered by Welch College is intended to prepare lay-persons for involvement in their local church, or to supplement the knowledge of part-time pastors. The skills that students acquire in this program are meant to strengthen Christian ministries, but not stand-alone as preparation for full-time ministerial positions. An online orientation course is required before taking other classes in this degree, which comprises a general education core and biblical studies. Topics covered include:
