Walden University offers an online Master of Science in Nursing with a concentration in Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner.  This online nurse practitioner degree is designed for students interested in helping seriously ill patients while also enhancing their earning and advancement potential.  This curriculum provides the knowledge and skills necessary to provide comprehensive, patient-centered care to individuals at least 13 years old with complex acute and exacerbations of chronic medical conditions.  Courses build skills as nurse practitioners while preparing students to work at an advanced level of practice providing care.  

This degree is available in a RN to MSN program for registered nurses with a hospital diploma, associate degree in nursing, or bachelor’s degree, other than BSN.  Once you fulfill general education requirements, you can begin courses for the MSN.
