In this blended clinical psychology PhD program, featuring online and in-person participation, you can gain the skills to assess mental wellness and provide interventions as a practitioner, educator, researcher, or consultant.
In this specialization, you will explore the field of health psychology, changing health behaviors, the impact of stress on individuals, and ways of helping patients to cope. You will learn about behavioral biomedical theories and the effects of key factors on physical health and wellness, as well as issues related to cardiovascular and immune system health, including heart disease, stroke, cancer, and HIV/AIDS.
- Must hold a masters degree.
Four residencies are required (Residency 2 may be virtual, Residency 4 may be virtual or a capstone intensive retreat).
